Grand Island Loop Biking

Mountain bikers can reach the shores of Grand Island through a half mile pontoon-ferry ride. Considered one of the most scenic mountain bike trails in Michigan, this adventure offers you 21.7 miles of single-tracks, double-tracks, and dirt roads. Riders then embark on a route that guides them along sandstone cliffs, sea caves, and 1,000 feet freighters. Aware riders may even catch a glimpse of Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. Grand Island is located in Lake Superior, about one-half mile from the mainland community of Munising, Michigan. The island's scenic natural beauty and interesting history make it an attractive place for camping and other outdoor activities
