Love the outdoors and taking pictures? Grab your camera for some photo fun with Little Traverse Conservancy naturalist and photographer Sara Mayhew.
We will focus on helping you improve your nature photography skills, expand your creativity, and provide an opportunity to photograph unique and exciting subjects at the beautiful Birge Preserve on Lake Michigan with a variety of habitats to explore photographically.

Rendevous at the Straits Powwow

Location: Father Marquette National Memorial
This is really two events in one-part French voyager re-enactment and part traditional Powwow. Visit the French encampments, watch demonstrations, visit vendors displaying authentic wares, and enjoy the sights and sounds of Native dancing and drumming ceremonies. Located at the Father Marquette National Memorial, just off US-2 west of I-75.
