Mackinac Island Eight Mile Run/Walk
Over 2000 participants are expected to travel the 8 mile perimeter of Mackinac Island. The journey will take you past Victorian homes, shops and hotels in the downtown, and to breathtaking views of the Mackinac Bridge and neighboring islands before concluding on the lawn of Mission Point.
9th Annual "Tour da Woods" Mountain Bike Challenge
2 Races are available to choose from in 2012, the 25 mile "Hiawatha's Revenge" and the 11 mile "Red Deer Run". Register early, participation has been set at 400 riders maximum!
6th Annual "Honoring the Waters" Powwow
Bring your own lawn chairs and listen to the drums as you watch the dancers in their regalia.
Events include: Blessing of the Grounds, Drum Social, Pot Luck Feast, and Grand Entry.
Food vendors and traders will be on hand.

Sault Riverview Music Festival
Friday 5-10pm Saturday Noon-10pm
Join The Sault Events, Inc. as it hosts the first annual Sault Riverview Music Festival.The festival will be filled with Sault Ste. Marie's local talent playing all generas of music. Come and take part in Music Workshops presented by Grooves Music.
The festival will host a free family activities event Saturday from 11am-3pm. Concessions & Beer tent Friday from 5pm-Close and Saturday from Noon-Close ran by the Sault Girl's/Woman’s Summer Softball League.
Saturday 4-8pm Hospice of the EUP will have a fish fry cost will be posted at a later date. Please see below for a full list of activities.
The Soo Eagles Hockey team will join the fun Saturday night after their exhibition game against the Alaskan Ice Dogs. 10pm-Midnight come out and meet the team!

Vintage Baseball at Grand Hotel
Enjoy 19 different Vintage baseball games on Mackinac Island this summer, featuring 18 different teams from 4 states and 2 countries. Games will be played by 1860 gentleman rules.
