St. Ignace Heritage Week
The history of St. Ignace is featured in a week long celebration. Fort de Baude Indian Museum and the Museum of Ojibwa Culture will be offering presentations, community walking tours, historical fashion shows, genealogy activities, Native American singing, and more.
Thursday, August 23rd is the day of the All-Family Reunion feast at the St. Ignace City Marina. Enjoy food, drinks, and entertainment among the stories of our heritage.
Heritage week caps off Friday evening with the Heritage Week parade.

Luce West Mackinac County Fair
Exhibits, live music, pageants, vendors, contests, crafts, raffles, antiques, inflatables, mud drags, grandstand events, pet shows, livestock exhbits, and the ever popular much more. Expect to see vendors from all over the area. For more, please visit the fair website.

There's nothing tastier than a 2 day celebration of the most popular fudge in America! Where else but on Mackinac Island!
Rendevous at the Straits Powwow
A Rendevous at the Straits French Voyager Reenactment and Powwow will take place Friday through Sunday at the Father Marquette Memorial Park in St. Ignace. The blessing of the grounds will take place on Friday at 1:00 PM with Grand Entrances occurring at 1:00 PM on both Saturday and Sunday.

Fireworks Over The Bay
(Sat. )Saturday night fireworks light up the sky in downtown St. Ignace. Enjoy the view from the Huron Boardwalk, one of the many St. Ignace restaurants and hotels, or on a stroll through the business district.

Lumberjack Breakfast and Music Festival
Enjoy a breakfast of bacon, eggs, homemade sausage, pancakes, and fried potatoes cooked over an authentic wood stove and served in the Cook Shack - 7:00 am until Noon each day - $7.50
Danny Johnston and the Cedar Swamp Boys will be performing along with other volunteer musicians from 11:30-6 on Saturday in the Music Pavillion. Sunday Gospel music starts at noon, will more folk music to follow until 5:00 pm.
