Art Hop

The Les Cheneaux Area Artisan Cooperative presents the first ever Les Cheneaux Art Hop, a public art exhibition and competition! Art Hop has invited anyone and everyone to create original art pieces to be displayed July through the Les Cheneaux Boat Show weekend. Works are all over Cedarville and Hessel, and brochures listing the art locations are at the Les Cheneaux Visitor Center, First National Bank, Woods and Water Ecotours, and many more stores.

Works are indoors or outside, and the public is invited to vote for their favorite pieces.

Two categories for creations:
1) age 15 and younger
2) age 16 and over.

Schoolcraft County's annual fair. Pageants, horse show, kids crafts and games, live entertainment, wagon rides, bounce house, animals, handmade exhibits of all varieties. Something for the whole family!

Crisp Point Lighthouse Summer Conference

Location: Crisp Point Lighthouse

The 16th Annual Crisp Point Lighthouse Conference & Picnic will take place on July 21st at 10am. Coffee, juice, and baked goods will be provided for breakfast. Guest speaker Mike Snyder will be in attendance to tell the story of the Edmond Fitzgerald.

Get up to speed on the current and future happenings at Crisp Point! All are welcome, membership to the society is not necessary to attend. 

Admission is free for those who register before July 14, 2012, otherwise the price is $5 per person or $15 per family at the door.
